Day 17: 5 favorite characters.

Who are Deadpool, Cyclops, Iceman, Spider-man, and Nathan Drake?

Deadpool is an interesting character. He's probably my favorite of all because I like the unconventional. He is an anti-hero, neither a villain nor a hero, and his character is the only comic book character I know who breaks the fourth wall. He recognizes that he is just a comic book character and he interacts with the readers. Sometimes he does the most annoying things and at other times he asks the most profound life questions.

Cyclops is the character that I personally can relate to the most. He is the original leader of the X-men and the idealist of all the X-men. He represents me the most. I see myself as a leader at certain points in my life and I'm proud of it. I am also the most idealistic person I know. It's a funny blend between realistic and fantasy that produces the best kind of idealism.

Iceman is the character that I want to be. He is the coolest (no pun intended) among the X-men. He's always portrayed as the young one even if he's part of the original five X-men and he's the type of person who takes things easy and who is very easy-going. For the life of me I could never just go with the flow. Everything I do has to be planned, but ironically I never follow through the plan.

Spider-man is probably my cop-out answer just because he's the most relates well with everyone who has been through hardships – which is everyone. Father, mother dies. Grandfather dies because he did not stop the bad guy. Every girl he's with had the risk of being in danger. All while being a teenager/young adult. But reading Marvel's Civil War, he was the character that had the best life lesson/quote for me. Let me get back to you when I find it.

Nathan Drake. If there's one person who taught me to live life on the edge, it would be this guy. Not in the comic book, but in the Uncharted video game series, he is the guy that never gives up no matter what the odds are. Certainly, this character had made me feel like going to places and starting my own world adventure.
